BLUE SUNSET

I had just recently purchased a gorgeous new 40mm lens as well as an ND filter as I wanted to play round with the effects of letting more light into the lens during daylight, without over-exposing the image.
The beautiful, smooth texture of the water and the silky, sunsetting clouds is due to the effect of that ND filter. What was produced as a result was a gorgeous capture of a rare blue sunset over the River Tyne.
Taken at the Newcastle Quayside on my Panasonic GH5 on April 12th 2023.
Printed on the pristine Fuji Crystal Archive paper with an elegant matte finish for enhanced quality and durability.
